The examination of the linkage between childhood factors and the prevalence of weekly alcohol use in adulthood has been studied previously in literature, however, there is a paucity of research investigating the cross-cultural variations in these relationships. This study endeavors to address this gap by leveraging data obtained from a diverse and globally representative sample comprising approximately 200,000 individuals drawn from 22 different nations.
